DH got me a Kindle for Christmas - I'm happy but turns out he ordered it the day BEFORE I decided I'd prefer a Nook Color... but then I was reading about the Nextbook on the southern channel. Seems a poster here downloaded the Kindle app and it's now her Amazon e-reader. These Nextbook/Ipad devices seem so cool (can you tell I'm electronically outdated?) but here's the question... once I shell out ~$200 for one of these, will it cost me a monthly charge in order to access my e-mails and surf the web on one of them? Hey, that's what I've got a computer for - I'm not paying an ISP twice!! But if that initial cost is all it takes, then I'm in.

Let me know please...I'm enjoying my Kindle but if there's something out there that's better and won't bleed my wallet, I'm interested!!

TIA
