I would check to see if they are taking their videos with their cell phones.

If they have a top tier smart phone they can easily use it to take HD video. If you arre not sure, look into a 1080p camcorder by JVC or Samsung. These have a large zoom(50x on some)and I like being able to take video from afar at times. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Nothing like being able to get a closeup view of a babies pretty eyes. Most cell phones cannot compare when it comes to Optical zoom.
