Hardwired Internet Connection

I really like a hardwired internet connection and chrome O/S.  I haven't been able to find a small laptop with both.  I used to have a wonderful 11.9 inch ASUS but it got fried and I've been looking for a replacement for what seems like forever.  Those adapters don't seem to work more than once and I don't know why.

Does anyone have any ideas:  small (11-13 Inch) chrome O/S with hardwired internet port?

You should call Dell's or HP and ask about  buying a business laptop.

Re: Hardwired Internet Connection

Hi, @excpa.  It seems to me (not terribly tech savvy) that if you can hard-wire, you can wireless.  It's just about having a modem.

Now, yes, many are moving towards wireless only, but there should be something out there that has the ethernet port.

But why not wireless?  Laptops are meant to be portable.

Hope you find what you need.

@Sweetbay magnolia  Thanks for answering.

I have wireless, but I just feel more secure with a wired connection. I have a modem, which supplies both wi-fi and ethernet.

Don't know how to get rid of this.

@Nuttmeg   Thanks for answering. I have business computers but the hardwired ones  are all Windows.  I prefer Chrome.

I just found out that there is a "Chrome OS."

Not to argue, but Chrome is an operating system.  See Chromebooks.

@Mz iMac  Thanks for the mini-lesson.

Re: Hardwired Internet Connection

Ok, @excpa, I understand.

I've had low-life neighbors hack my wi-fi and "blue jack" me.

I did go through a period where the cable seemed a better solution.

Happy hunting for the PC!

Most computer companies sell Chrome laptops in their Educational division.
