Thanks  for this information. I found a review of Apple Music from the web site Re-Code and Walter Mossberg.

I've been playing with it since this morning. I posted about it in your other thread on this topic.

Re: ~ Apple Releases iOS 8.4 for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch ~

I am always reluctant to download the upgrades to my iPhone 6+ because every time I do I lost the ringtones I've downloaded. Grrrrr. Talked to Apple, they told me it was a bug they were fixing. It worked through the next upgrade and then I lost my tones on the next one. So, I've bought ringtones several times, they WILL credit if I call, but that's another hour on the phone trying to explain the problem AGAIN and I just don't have the patience for it. I'm happy with iTunes and the cloud so don't feel any urgency to add another music app. At least I will have my ringtones for another while.

I learned the hard way, never update before you leave on vacation.  When I get back from my trip, I'll update my Apple devices.

Re: ~ Apple Releases iOS 8.4 for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch ~

Ok, question for you Apple pros. I hate updates b/c things change and it's just not intuitive to this brain as to where to find stuff.

I'm unable to find my songs!! When I go to my songs on my iPhone 5S (approx 325 of them, all purchased) I can see albums but not the songs. There's nothing to press for shuffling the songs that do play, either.

I never have made any Playlists - didn't need to, I just enjoyed what was playing since they're all songs I liked enough to buy. I see an option for the radio (don't want that, there's no guarantee that I'll like the songs played) - I just want to play my songs!

I did a search online but was unable to find anything that related to this.

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!!

Music

Library

switch the drop down menu from artists or albums to songs

when you tap the song it starts playing and a little pop up window opens at the botoom of the screen that has the pause button.

You can also swipe up from the bottom of the screen and control your music, or lock the phone and control music from the lock screen.
