I may take a look at this Sky phone, an android with 16gb with 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.

The newest OS seems to be the 7.0 nougat, but they are slow in coming out to consumers.

Does anyone have the Samsung Sky android for Tracfone?  If so, what do you think of it?

@Big Sister, you may want to read the other thread on this phone, "QVC selling the Samsung Galaxy Sky Tracfone" and more importantly, this thread: To All Tracfone Users. The latter is extensive with comments from those who have this phone which was sold on HSN the first week in December.
