How do we care for the Toscana leather? Will it get ruined if it gets wet?

If you can't find an answer on D&B website, call their CS dept.  Might as well get a correct answer directly from the horses mouth! Smiley Wink

Thanks! I did look on the Dooney website, but I didn't see anything, unless I overlooked it. I wish the Q hosts would give more detail on the leather.

@Marmee4  No you didn't overlook it.  Reason why I mentioned that you call them.

"The leathers used in most Dooney & Bourke merchandise are both water repellent"

To me that is too vague a statement when they do not mentioned which ones are not water repellent.

The type of leather you asked about is not even mentioned and/or listed.

Thanks Mz! I've been watching Q all day, hoping theyd talk about care of the leather. Not much has been said. I have the bag in Bordeaux, and it's lovely. I'd hate for it to get ruined if I get caught in a rain storm.
