The Dooney Alto handbags are made in Italy.  There are a small number of Dooney satchels that are from the Made In USA collection.  They are the small Florentine satchel and a similar style in ostrich.  But not all small Florentine satchels are from the USA collection.   The ones that are have red trim on the inside and on the tassles.

I have a lot of Dooney bags and I love them. I never had a problem with them being made in China. However, when I saw them making the Florentine bags being made in Connecticut, i had to have it. I felt duped when it was made in China. I still love them, and I treasure my Florentine bag.
