Paula Deen "finger licking" good?

Sorry,Paula...I cannot watch you dip your fingers into food, lick them clean, then wipe your nose, and then put them back into the food or pick another piece and hand it to someone on set. This has gone on since her days at the Q and its not only distasteful but unhealthy. I can't imagine eating in her restaurant if she's behind the stove.

Can't believe she's still doing this. I read about this on this forum when she was a Q vendor.  Clearly, she had to know about the comments.

Re: Paula Deen "finger licking" good?

I agree with you.  But I hate to tell you, and maybe you know already,

this happens is the best restaurants.

Both of my sons and a daughter-in-law worked in high-end restaurants

while in college.  My older son, in a high-end hotel in San Diego, my younger

son on Cannery Row in Monterey--all sorts of things like that happened.

Have you seen Wolfgang on the other channel?  Good lord, he fingers the food,

wipes his nose, tastes, puts spoons back in...etc.

My younger son said he saw food drop on the floor and not thrown out.

Yes.  The chef at a restaurant I worked at would drop a burger and pick it up and put it on a bun,

What is the point of this post in Customer Care? Paula Deen items aren't sold here, and Q can do nothing about this.

I don't contend that someone can't have this opinion or express it, but this is not the correct forum.

I didn't notice which category this was in. I just tend to read the newer posts and respond to them. Perhaps it should have been in the kitchen forum or in viewpoints, which is kind of a general area.

Happens all the time, just depends if somebody tips off the mods or not.

Over in Kitchen forum there's been a Good mOrning how do you do thread that has absoulutely nothing to do with Kitchen concerns. It still lingers.

Re: Paula Deen "finger licking" good?

Its tough to watch either of them...though i do find WP...less disgusting then PD....mostly because of her taking food from the host...take a bite...then hand it back them ....or eating something then hand it off to someone else on the set...
