How about snap your fingers to this one:

"Trailer for sale or rent, rooms to let 50 cents, no phone no pool no pets, I ain't got no cigarettes.  Two hours of pushing broom buys an 8 x 12 four bit room, I'm a man of means by no means, King of the Road."

Clyde was the camel.  Fatima had rings on her fingers and bells on her toes and a bone in her nose! Smiley Wink

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."

I could sing aaaall the lyrics to Ray Stevens' songs, and the OP song as well. Fun memories.

Wonder how Glen Campbell is doing

Clint Eastwood is 86 today

and 50 yrs. ago today, the Monkees t.v. show started.

Kind of bouncing off the wall today.

Do you remember that song? That's me today.

Clint Eastwood, 86!  What a hunk in his day!  His son is gorgeous, too!!!

Remember the song, but very few of the words? Thus? I have no idea how you are feeling. Is that up or a downer?

I've been hearin' you're concerned about my happiness
But all that thought you're givin' me is conscience, I guess
If I were walkin' in your shoes I wouldn't worry none
While you and your friends are worryin' 'bout me, I'm havin' lots of fun

Countin' flowers on the wall that don't bother me at all
Playin' solitaire till dawn with a deck of fifty one
Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me, "I've nothing to do"

Last night I dressed in tails pretended I was on the town
As long as I can dream it's hard to slow this swinger down
So please don't give a thought to me, I'm really doin' fine
You can always find me here and havin' quite a time

Countin' flowers on the wall that don't bother me at all
Playin' solitaire till dawn with a deck of fifty one
Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me, "I've nothing to do"

It's good to see you I must go, I know I look a fright
Anyway my eyes are not accustomed to this light
And my shoes are not accustomed to this hard concrete
So I must go back to my room and make my day complete

Countin' flowers on the wall that don't bother me at all
Playin' solitaire till dawn with a deck of fifty one
Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me, "I've nothing to do"
Now don't tell me, "I've nothing to do"

Grew up on the Statlers!  Sing it all the time.  LOL
