They're a bit like "one-hit wonders"--known primarily for one thing:
Susan Backlinie - the first victim in the opening scene of Jaws
Anita Darian - sang that well-known and oft-imitated soprano part in "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"--and wasn't even a member of the Tokens, so she was essentially uncredited
Elise Morris - sang the guttural shriek in the opening titles of "Cold Case"
Loulie Jean Norman - Anyone who's ever heard the original TV "Star Trek" theme has heard her......Oooh OOOOOHHHHH oo oo oo oo oohhh........
All women. Unless you count Earle Hagen, who whistled "The Fishin' Hole" on the opening titles of "The Andy Griffith Show."
