Would you give up the Dollar bill ......

in favor of the dollar coin once and for all knowing it will save the government over $500 million annually?

An article on Yahoo Finance is poosing this question.

I say we should go with the coins like it or not!

I know this has been tried and the coins are more collectable than spendable but we need to get over ourselves and start doing what is necessary to cut spending.

500 million is a drop in the bucket compared to the debt but every flood starts with a few raindrops.
