I have a 2000 Chevrolet Venture van. It still runs great. It has 45,000 miles on it. My prior car to the van was 13 years old Ford Topaz. I actually dreaded getting a new car...but the doors did not close well anymore. It actually had roll up windows and no air conditioning! It was a very reliable car though...never broke down. The van is the same way, just a good reliable drive. I do appreciate the air conditioning and electric windows! I have never been one who needs a fancy expensive car or a car payment. I pay cash and drive them to death!

I have, at various times in the past. They were good cars, and I was happy to have them. At this point in time, I swap a 2005 vehicle with a 2015 SUV. I like them both for different reasons. Love the GPS and other tech features in the newer car, but really like the way the older one handles and accelerates.

I'd rather have money in the bank than fancy new cars in the driveway.

We drive our cars a long time and take good care of them.

Right now daughter has newest car in the family. Honda CRV. 2013. Bought new.

Husband has oldest. Mercury Marquis. Old man car. 1997. Father gave to us when he bought new.

Son. Ford Escape. 2001. Bought used.

Me. Ford Expedition EL. 2007. Bought new. For awhile I was driving both it and the old 1998 Expedition so only have less than 60K miles on the 2007 and finally sold the old 1998.

Old ugly truck to haul mulch or whatever . . . I'd love to get rid of it. Chevrolet. 1990. Bought new.

Hope to get new 2016 Pilot this summer . . . body update/refresh year for the Pilot. I'll keep my 2007 Expedition for a spare.

Hope to get new 2016 CRV, maybe, for husband . . . also body update/refresh for the CRV.

I don't now but I did for a long time. I had a great Toyota with well over 200K miles on it. It saved me a bunch of money.

My husband drives his 1986 Dodge Ram SUV to station in morning to catch transit to work. That puppy gets a huge 9 MPG. The state has offered to buy it. But it looks like new, and is cool. Looks like an old Bronco

When I think of old, I think of a car at least 20 years old.

I don't know anyone who drives one, but yesterday in the school parking lot, I saw a white Honda Civic, identical to the one that I bought in the early 1990s. It was in great shape, still looks good (not "old") and I'm sure it runs great.
