Mirror, Mirror On The Wall....
"Dang, girl! You need a makeover"! 😆
That device thing creeps me out.
ETA: Is this thing marketed to women? I don't see guys jumping at the chance to buy this

Where are you looking ? Looking at the Echo reviews on Amazon there seem to be an almost equal number of traditional male and female names. Considering how few males post on these boards one cannot reasonably look here to determine how appealing the Echo might be to men.

Haha, I thought the "C" meant something else, being shown in the photo next to what looks like the bed.
"Hey, Pete, don't do it like that, you clod"

There used to be a Sci-Fi show called "Eureka". "S.A.R.A.H." was the name of the ai that ran the home in the show...life immitates art.

What is your reasoning behind this? It's a lamp with a smart device. That's about as gender-neutral as it gets.

Absolutely! And tech controlled environments have gone back way before Eureka. (I miss Eureka; It was so much fun!) HAL running the show in 2001: A Space Oddysey was in1968 and most Star Trek shows had some kind of computer system doing things for them. Star Trek didn't name their devices, but HAL was not just an acronym for Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic computer, but also a name to anthropomorphize the machine, just like SARAH. And I don't even know if HAL was the first one or just the first one to make the most memorable impact.

Wow, I love that. I have Alexa on my Kindle and I ordered an Echo Dot.
