Re: WW2 BRILLIANT CODE BREAKER

Really, I thought it was Alan Turing and his team that broke Enigma THE CODE to break at that time.

The Bletchly females only intercepted the codes I thought.

I see a resemblance with her smile, but it's an individual thing.

Well anyway, I can certainly understand why Kate is so proud of her grandmother.  The code breakers did amazing work and saved lives.

@Puzzle Piece  No, the girls worked on the enigmas night and day trying to break the codes. Bletchley Circle showed a lot of it or google it.

There wasn't only the Enigma code - there were many codes used during the war. Women definitely worked on them and broke or helped break them.

Alan Turing didn't work alone, and we don't know that his "team" was all-male.

Re: WW2 BRILLIANT CODE BREAKER

Many lives were saved by code breakers. Midway was certainly one of the events that changed the trajectory of the war.
