I think she meant that here these two men have gorgeous wives/girlfriends and they go choose somewhat less attractive than what they have at home. But as we all know It is not always about the looks...I could be wrong but that is how I took her statement...

Lots of men!  Think you need to read up on it.  Some men go to Brazil for "that" kind of tourism.  Same with some women who go to Africa for the same reason.
