The 8 Syrians were a family- 2 couples and their 4 children each, who approached immigration and asked for refuge. You would do anything you could to save your life and the lives of your children if you were in the same situation.

You have sacrificed nothing and no one.

CNN has had an official Muslim woman rep on numerous times, she's pretty good. Also an older male Muslim, but I've seen more of her.

I don't know about this case specifically but terrorist do use women and children. They have video that they themselves have put out of training as young as three year olds. Yesterday it was a woman who tried to trick the police by yelling help and then detonating her suicide vest. So women and children is no guarantee anymore. And the fake passport is not something an innocent person would use. These are just my opinions and Thinking out loud.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

not enough of THIS type of coverage though across the board on all of the news stations and newspapers. dean is also a contributor on cnn.

Although I do think the news people take advantage of such incidents, overall, I think we need a lot of information available to us.

I believe danger of this type is on the rise now. We need to be very informed and vigilant. I wouldn't change my life, because there's probably no point, but we should be paying attention.
