In the next couple of weeks I will definitely have to make up my mind on kitchen countertops. Shopping around, I'm finding out that there isn't as big a difference in price between quartz (which I really want) and some of the nicer laminates. I was surprised.
Right now Lowe's is offering some of their quartz for $52.99 per square foot, and it's regularly $75.00. For our entire kitchen quartz is only about $1000 more. $1000 is a lot of money, but the difference isn't nearly what I thought it would be.
