Good afternoon one and all ~ it's a hot day in the neighborhood. @ShowMe called and her sister got in without a hitch.  She called me to share some thoughts on my health insurance quest.

DH and I have been patiently waiting for the painter to come and give us a check for when his worker wrecked the wiring the pigeon guy put up when our house was painted last April!

I hate people.....you have one stinkin' job to do and YET, it gets skrewed up.  I remember the days when we had to multi-task.  Those days are long gone.

I felt bad the Cubs lost last night but tonight is another night.  The funny thing is that I don't even like baseball.  It's a sure fire sedative for me but, The Cubs are a Chicago team and c'mon folks, 108 years since they won a World Series.  Ya' gotta' love the fans.

Well, as they say in the nut house, "I must be off".  Ta-ta-til'-later.
