Re: Ring on the Left Ring Finger

lol I'm not forward like so many of you seem. Let me put this in context--my mom married my dad at 17. I could never and still can't talk to her about these things. That's why I may seem so "behind".

You could say,

"So, what's your story?"

If you're not prepared to be forward and ask then you really should just let him come to you if that's what he is interested in.

Re: Ring on the Left Ring Finger

It looks like a class ring. Let me see if I can find a pic of a similar ring.

@JBKO

It's not being forward, it's taking care of yourself.

The days are long gone where women had to be subservient and not step out of line.  If we don't take care of our own interests, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

You're a working woman, not someone in a convent.

It's not being forward.  Wanting to know something about someone is human nature.

I don't know what not being able to talk about this with your mom has to do with anything.

Have confidence and be assertive - it will take you far.

You can't just sit around and wait for Prince Charming to come knocking.

You've got to put yourself out there.

A big smile would be a good place to start.  I personally like a guy who takes the lead, but I have to let him know I'm receptive.

He's single.  Now ask him out.
