Re: Renowned Pediatrician T. Berry Brazelton Has Passed at 99

I remember T. Berry from TV and got a big kick out of his name and gave some good advice. I'm sure he knew his onions, but I never needed to read his books to raise my son. My cousin was a big Dr, Spock fan and his books were gospel to her. Her son was a very difficult child and didn't get much better with age.

Re: Renowned Pediatrician T. Berry Brazelton Has Passed at 99

@golding76   When my brother had his DNA tested, we finally found the patrilenial heritage breakdown, which included 16% turkish for me (13% for him) and 10% Jewish. All this along with our stong mediterranean genes.  I always felt the Jewish connection, but the Turkish one surprised us.

Someone said to me, it's a good thing you weren't in Germany in the 30s or that 10% would have been enough to send you to the camps. A sobering thought.

Shalom.

Now that I've had time to think about it, I think the 3rd baby book I mentioned was written by a woman named Penelope Leach (sp?) I gave a copy of it to my daughter-in-law when she pregnant with her daughter.
