The horse is on a 9 x 9 plate. The tiger is on a 12 x 12 tile. The tiger is drawn with an underglaze pencil. Then glazed and fired.

@LoriMI Absolutely gorgeous!!! Love both but the first one I would buy in a second. Something mysterious about not being able to see the horse's face entirely. Very ethereal to me. Lovely. The colors are so beautiful. It could be your profile pic!!

Gunner was painted for a friend. Her 'Gunner' passed away. She sent me a picture and I painted him. After he was done, he made the journey back to her. And yes, he really did have a big, big nose.

When you paint on bisque, it is a liquid clay. The colors really come to life after the firing.

I love the cat face on the round bowl.
Like the way he seems to be poking his head out from the bowl.
