Back in the day I liked Bob Dylan and Simon & Garfunkle best.  Just a few years later, in college, I added The Doors and The Who.  I probably played the Tommy double album 1,000,000 times.  Usually in the middle of the night when I was depressed.

I love all of these also.  I really loved them all.  "After the Love is Gone" comes to mind.  What a song!!

And Karen Carpenter . . . what a voice, and what a loss so young.

Actually I could listen to 70s and early 80s music all day every day.

The Beatles-hands down.

Without them, there wouldn't have been the "British Envasion" in the 60's of the Stones, DC5 and others.

There are times when nothing but the stones will do. And there are moments when the Beatles make your hesrt sing. However, there are some songs like michelle that are so over played ,i cant take it. Love them both!!! I will say beatles songs are best done by the Beatles themselves
