PAGING MAGENTA!!

Magenta, I am trying to plan a trip for my grandson (15 years old) to Washington, DC in the spring. I've already started a thread about it and have been told that YOU ARE THE ONE that has all the prized information. Can you please 'guide' me to the insiders list of where to stay (not expensive but clean) and places to see for a 15 year old boy? Any information is greatly appreciated.
