Ok...who's started shopping for Christmas 2017?

I think I start this thread every year, LOL. It's meant to be lighthearted everyone.

And no, I haven't started shopping for THIS Christmas, but I did buy a few clearance gift wrap items last week. Very few.

I do have an idea in mind on what to maybe give my friends this year. I want to think about it for several months before I start looking for this item.

I'm ready for several months of "regular days". I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm all holiday'd out.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Mary Bailey- speaking of advent calendars, I had my very first advent calendar in 2016. I actually got one from Clinique. I had alot of fun opening the little door each day. If they make it again this year, I plan to get one again.

Last Christmas I bought GS a Trader Joe's chocoate advent calender. He may not like this one as much,.It's felt, he would move the felt candy cane to the next day. I'll probably get him a chocolate one also! lol

LOL, for a minute I thought you were serious, because some folks are so organized (not me) that they do start really early and take advantage of clearance prices.

Not me!! Right now I am shopping but for myself. I asked for very little this Christmas, explaining that I would rather take advantage of post holiday prices. I really enjoy doing this- sort of a "treat yourself" after working so hard to pull off a great Christmas for my family.

I get my Son and his GF a Trader Joe's advent calendar every year. They are in their 20's - I wonder who is eating the chocolate since they are both chocolatholics.

I have stopped the practice of buying gifts early (Christmas and Birthday) because I always FORGET I made the purchase.

No more gift closets either.
