Re: Name Of Your Favorite Restaurant Franchise?

Sometimes we will go to Longhorns for a steak. We usually just go to a local family restaurant the next town over if we eat out. We order the early bird dinner. Great food, portions and prices. I almost always  come home with a doggie bag and have another meal for the next day.

How I miss Marie Callendar's (and Baker's Square, each had the same type of menu).  These were family type retaurants that were open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and sold good pies...we often got great holiday pies from them.

They're related to Perkins.

I've never been to a Marie Callendar's so I don't know if the food is the same but Perkins is good.

@Shorty2U....I stopped eating at Olive Garden years ago because of the salt too.

Are you in AZ?  I do like PappadeauxSmiley Happy

@tansy Hi! Pappadeaux is my favorite! I was there last week for my birthday dinner and enjoyed the Greek salad made fresh, tableside, scallops and broccollini and then the banana pudding dessert in the Mason jar (very yummy)! I am in the Chicago area. Woman Happy

We live in small towns both in Fl & Pa and our only chain restaurant in both is Subway.

We don't have many chain restaurants close to me.  I can say which ones I go to most frequently, and they would be Starbucks and Subway.

Hi @september !

I've looked up all the favorite places people have listed on this line and we don't have ANY of them near us except for the ones that are familiar.

I wish we did Smiley Happy

At least you have In & Out Burgers in CA! I lived in L.A. for 7 years and got addicted!

Which Wich, it's the only chain-type restaurant I patronize.
