It was a long, hard fight, but most people call me by my full name vs. my nickname these days. My dad, my best friend of nearly 30 years, and a few random relatives still call me the nickname (Lee), everyone else uses Leila. Oh, there's a special group of  ladies who call me Leu (rhymes w/Lou).

DH goes by his middle name except at work, the he goes by his first name. He actually wasn't aware that his middle name wasn't his first name until he was 13.
