My fur son has congestive heart failure

My precious 6-year-old chihuahua was diagnosed with CHF today. Last winter the vet told me HE might have it. Had a chest x-ray today and he has fluid in his lungs again, thus, a definitive diagnosis. If you and your dog have experienced this, please share helpful information me! I would truly appreciate it.
