That is cute.  It must be tough being an animal Mom.  You have to catch your own food and protect your kids at the same time.

There was a terrific show on Nature (PBS) last night about the plight of moose in North America.  In an effort to learn more about them, it followed a mother and her calf during the calf's first year.  It was very well done, demonstrating just the thing that you mentioned - how mothers have to both find food and protect their young.
