Mississippi River and barges in the St. Louis area

This could eventually be affecting everyone.....it is serious. These barges carry everything from grain, fuel, road salt, etc. They are going to be requesting a special Presidential release of some of the water from the Missouri River to ease this situation. They have said there are only a few days left before this happens here. This is all because of the shortage of rain in our area.

So, we may eventually be having to pay more for these things.
