I don't eat fast food very often but I do love a Big Mac occasionally but to be honest they are just too much for me to eat. McDonald's is now introducing a few variations which I personally would love to see:

McDonald's Big Mac is getting even bigger. And smaller.
For those who think the Big Mac is a bit too big, McDonald's is coming out with the Mac Jr. For those who think the Big Mac isn't quite big enough, McDonald's is unveiling the Grand Mac.
McDonald's (MCD) said it's going company-wide with the burgers after successful test markets earlier this year in Ohio and Dallas/Fort Worth.
The Big Mac is distinguished by the fact that it has two burger patties instead of one, and it also has the famous "special sauce." The Grand Mac adds more beef to the two patties, totaling one-third of a pound of beef. The Mac Jr. has just one larger patty, loses the middle bun, but keeps the special sauce.

The Big Mac was invented in 1967 by Michael "Jim" Delligatti at his franchise in Uniontown, Pa. Delligatti, who eventually owned 48 franchises, died at age 98 in November, just weeks after McDonald's first announced plans for the Grand Mac and Mac Jr.
This is the latest change from Steve Easterbrook, who became CEO in 2015. Easterbrook has experimented with fast food innovations, including self-order kiosks, mobile pay options, updated interior design and table service. He also pioneered the all-day breakfast menu, which has helped to drive revenue and profits.

Grand mac? That's just gross.

I'm so boring. I just like a hamburger, lettuce, tomato and mayonaise, that's it, one slab of beef!
I only eat Filet Mignon steak. I can't eat a lot of meat it upsets my stomach. I wonder who eats these huge things? Maybe young teenage boys who are growing? I have no idea?

Of course, like all "publicity photos", the pictures make them all look huge.
I occasionally indulge in the traditional Big Mac with a small fries and it's not a huuuge amount of food. I can see the smaller one, but the larger one? Just not necessary, IMO.

I stopped eating Micky Dees when they started nuking the burgers. Nothing could pay me to eat one now

I can't remember the last time I had one it's been so long but the mac jr looks good.

I would try a Grand Mac.
A traditional "Big" Mac, really isn't that big.

Growing up in the 1970's I loved big mac's. Never gave a thought to what I ate back then....

If I ate a Grand Mac it would probably cover my calories for 3 days!! It would also send my heartburn into full gear!!

You know, I have never had a Big Mac or Whopper in my life. Now I have had other stuff they offer but I just never ordered one of those for some reason. @Pearlee has me starving talking about Starbucks sandwiches so I am having my husband bring one of those home for me. Maybe tomorrow I will have one of these, lol! This week will be my fast food reconnaissance, I will check them all out. I was deprived as a child, my mother was a health food fanatic. I thought carob was chocolate for the first 7 yrs of my life.
