GREENVILLE, S.C. --

If you're looking for a job, the forecast is looking pretty bright in Greenville. Forbes.com has released it's "Best And Worst Cities for Jobs This Spring", and Greenville ranks #1, tied with the Knoxville area. "It's very good news," says Ben Haskew, President of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.

The results come from ManPower Group, an employment services firm. The firm surveyed more than 18,000 employers nationwide, to find out their staffing plans for the second quarter of 2012.

The survey found that 26% of the employers in the Greenville-Mauldin-Easley metropolitan area planned to increase their workforce this spring. Only 2% planned reductions. "Our biggest areas are manufacturing and automotive," says Haskew.

HTI Solutions, a staffing firm that represents companies like Bosch Rexroth and ZF Transmissions, are hosting job fairs daily, according to company representatives. "If you're looking for a job, there is one out there for you in the Upstate," says Nat Banks with HTI.

Banks says the problem has been finding enough people to fill the current influx of jobs the area is seeing. "Two years ago, a job fair might draw 700 people," Banks says. "That's not the case anymore. We're trying to keep up with the demand."
