California Governor Jerry Brown has rejected the parole of Leslie Van Houten.

Thank you for posting this! I am glad she was denied parole, no matter what she has accomplished in prison or how well behaved she is, she participated in the murder of 2 people and deserves to spend life in prison.

I don't care how well she's been doing in prison. She killed innocent people that never got the chance to live out their lives. And the poor remaining family members have to relive this horror for the rest of their lives, either hearing Manson stories on TV, or thinking about the upcoming parole date.

If I had control, she'd have gotten the chair......Which she deserves.

Jerry Brown was also California Attorney General from 2007-2011.   I would trust him to make the right decision.    (I might add that I also worked for him many years ago.)

This is exactly why I couldn't get all worked up and frantic, when the news was that she was up for parole, because I knew that just because one is up for parole, does NOT mean that they will get it.
