One of my kitty's has a hard quick growing lump on her front leg. Took her to the vet about a month and a half ago. He said that it might be cancer, but would not know until it was removed looked at. He also said that he might have to take the whole front leg. I think we finally have a way too to have it done. Does anyone know of a cat that has had it's front leg removed and how they recovered? How do they walk? Does anyone know if f cancer on leg is usally just local so that removal of leg gives good chance of saving her life. I do not want to put her in more the pain and confusion if it is just a matter of a few months. She shows no signs of discomfort and uses the leg jumping up and down off tables. My husband is sick and I am job hunting ( not easy for anyone but I am over 60). I am so blessed to have a suportive husband because if I can not find a job this expense ,well let say we are barely hanging on. Please any options will be appreciated.
