Not new, @AngelPuuppy1, been in use for a while.

My favorite that I stumbled on and may not be new at all is to butter one side of my English muffin and smash the dry side onto it. I use less butter that way and fewer calories.

Okay, I don't even think I've heard of 'hacking' other than a computer thug (haha) or someone who's coughing a lot.....

Answer me this, the hashtag thing.  Do you make it up or is it already made up.

Say someone is writing about a delicious dessert and they end the tweet with #tastytidbit.  Did they make up the 'tasty tidbit' part?  (This is probably a horrible example.)

Would there be a 'site' called *tasty tid bit*?

Re: Is "hack" the new buzz or it word?

Thanks for all your replies!

I believe the first time I read it was on-line and it was someone saying - a new beauty "hack".  I was like, huh?  But I have since seen this word used a lot.  But never heard anyone say it around me unless it is in the context of hacking into a computer or to say someone is a hack, which is a derogatory term.

I guess it's like a long time ago when they started saying something was "bad", when they were really meaning it was really "good"!!!

Also "sick" referring to someone or something being being awesome.

Oh, well.  This, too, shall pass.  LOL!!!

Oh, yeah -- I just thought of another one -- "dope".  Back in my day --- if we used the word "dope" it was to call someone stupid or not too bright.  Now, if you say its "dope", that means, its really current or hot, right?
