          These birthday threads are so sweet, @newziesuzie!   Thanks for being so thoughtful.   (Nice touch, including the Jim Shore figurine!)    Not everyone feels comfy mentioning their exact birthday, and not everyone will have a thread dedicated to wishing them a happy day, and this gives us all the chance to let our fellow posters know we send good wishes to them and to their loved ones who might be celebrating.    I remember a dear poster, "Twizzle," who used to start a monthly birthday thread...  I sure do miss her.   Thanks for continuing this tradition!    And happy birthday to everyone with a birthday in August!

Thank you, we took him to Pappadeaux's for lunch and I made him his favorite cookies 'n cream ice cream cake. It was great to spend a whole day with him.
