I am going to a clinic today to get nerve blocks done to prevent nerve damage. I have RSD and it makes it more complicated. I am currently out of work for something else but my doctor said she would have pulled me out for a month anyway. I really wanted to go back to work soon. But the pain is so bad and the lesions are on the side of my neck, on my ear and the skin behind my ear all on the left side. They are so big and it scares me. I live by myself and I know I can spread the chickenpox to someone who has not had it so I will stay away from people until I am not contagious.

I am 47 years old a little young to get shingles. It kind of worries me if I have something else going on with me to make my immune system so weak. I will get a full physical when I am all healed to see if all is ok. Wish me luck today getting the nerve block.
