I Miss Steve Bryant - But Only In October

Steve Bryant was never one of my favorite show hosts. However, I loved his Halloween shows with the mask guy, Mario Chioto (sp?). Steve was really "into" Halloween and so he obviously enjoyed presenting those maks very much, and really hammed it up!

Q used to be much more fun in those days. Sigh!

We looked forward to those shows every year, and bought some of those masks.

I enjoyed Steve as a host and loved the Halloween shows! The masks were great, bought several and still use them!

I'm surprised that neither QVC nor HSN offer much if any Halloween merchandise of any kind any more. I know they don't offer things that bomb out in the sales dept, but since so many on the forums seem to live where there are few/no stores (or say they do) and wouldn't have a local shopping opportunity, I would have though they would buy QVC. OTOH, it does demonstrate that the majority of QVC shoppers are a lot older than QVC wants to think.

I always enjoyed Steve - Halloween or not - but those Halloween shows were great fun. Some of my grands enjoyed those great masks each year.

I enjoyed the Halloween shows too.

I always figured they moved away from Halloween shows because of high number of returns. I can imagine many people shopped, used the costumes/merchandise, then returned them after the holiday.

He was a host who left QVC quite a few years ago, and has since made a career in social media of trashing all things Q.
