Human Interest Story Connecting Boston and Texas

I heard this just this morning. A runner from Austin, TX had just finished the Marathon when one of the bombs went off. His wife was hit with shrapnel, but wasn't seriously injured. The man and his wife left the city and went home to TX. The man was driving along a TX road when the explosion at the fertilizer factory happened. His car was hit with debris.

Is this man lucky or what?
