How much should a kitty weigh?

My DD wants to know if her kitty,"MILLY" weighs too much.She is 11 lbs.She doesn't look overweight.She was feeding her dry and wet food but just read dry food is bad for cats.She feeds her the small cans of Fancy Feast.She would like to know how many cans to give her.
