One of my 6 kitties has small scabs all over her back. I have washed her two times with Dawn dishwasher liquid, thinking it could be fleas. Each time there were no dead fleas coming off my pet. Three of our cats go outside and we put an expensive flea preventer on them, and three do not-This cat does not go outside. I don't know what to think. She is a long haired cat and is biting and itching alot. When I feel inside her hair and get down to her skin. There are lots of little bumps on her skin. We take out animals to a country vet, and I do not think they are the best at trouble shooting. Right now, money is tight and I do not have faith that they will know what is wrong with her. Does anyone know what it could be? I googled scabs on cats skin and it could be allergies. I feel bad for her and went to the store tonight and bought a new cat shampoo-just to give her some relief. I know this will not solve the problem, but might give her some temporary relief.
