I think that if there have been any verified instances of UFOs, the government knows all about it. I don't think they would publicize it for fear of causing widespread panic.

Yes, back in 1977. My son was sleeping in the bedroom next to mine. He saw it, too. He called out to me and we watched together. It just hovered over us. Then, in the blink of an eye - poof! Gone.

My son swears he saw one about 10 years ago over Ridgecrest CA. He was with friends and they saw it as well. I believe they think they saw one and they may have as China Lake is adjacent and does a lot of secret aeronautical stuff. For instance, we saw plenty of stealths before they became public.
