Hostess is recalling more than 700,000 cases of its snack cakes and donuts because the products may contain peanut residue not listed in their ingredients.
The residue can sicken those allergic or highly sensitive to peanuts.
Hostess blames the residue on flour recently recalled by its supplier, Grain Craft.
Hostess brands affected by the recall include Ding Dongs, Zingers and Chocodiles.
The products affected include single serve (snack cakes and donuts), multipack boxes and bagged donuts. The products were sold to mass merchandisers, grocery stores, distributors, dollar stores, drug stores, and convenience stores throughout the United States and Mexico.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a recall for Green Cuisine “Pesto Pasta Salad with Arugula," due to it having the potential of being contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The recalled pasta salad was sold in 7.4 oz clear plastic containers at Whole Foods Market locations under the name “Whole Foods Pesto Pasta Salad w/Arugula."

the FLOUR recall has been expanded.....you may want to check dates and sku numbers again.
General Mills announced Friday that it was expanding its recall of Gold Medal flour, Wondra flour, and Signature Kitchens flour to include flour made earlier in the fall that may still be in consumers’ pantries.
The company, based in Minneapolis, stated that the recall is being expanded due to a newly reported illness which “appears to have stemmed from the consumption of raw dough or batter linked to flour produced last fall.” (The expanded list of recalled flour products is toward the end of this story.)

I went to purchase Famous Amos cookies for DH at local ShopRite and the vendor from Kellogg's told me there was a recall!
Here is link of those items listed with their best by dates. I imagine if you have them, return back to your store for a refund.
Recall was done because of possible peanut residue mixed in with flour.

I had to laugh because at home the box of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies says on the side of the box 'May Contain Peanuts'. I ended up getting the cookies at King Kullen, another local supermarket.

recalls on PF CHANGS frozen dinners.
Check your freezer: ConAgra Foods is recalling nearly 200,000 pounds of frozen chicken and beef dinners because they may be contaminated with traces of metal.
Metal fragments, ranging in size between two and nine millimeters in diameter, could be lurking in the sauce of the frozen entrees, which are produced by the Russellville, Arkansas-based company, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reports.
The dinners were produced between May 31 and June 22.
