A woman is showing "too much" cleavage!

This isn't the 1700's.
Unless the woman is running around in a g-string bikini, it's all good.
Besides, you see more skin on the beach than you do on the news.
*yawn*
I don't agree. There is just nothing professional looking about a woman anchoring the news who is wearing a low cut top and a tight skirt jacked up her thighs.
Doesn't matter the year or the century. It's tacky.
Gee, I don't oggle the women when I watch the news, but that's just me.
If you find what they are wearing so offensive, change the channel. There are plentry of other news sources out there.
Thank you for missing the point.

No......I got your point. Your feathers are all ruffled because a woman on tv dares to (gasp!) show some skin that's below her neck!

I don't think that dressing appropriately for an occasion indicates shame in one's body.
I think it indicates pride in one's appearance.

One can do both at the same time.

You are always in control, of what you want to see. Its easy to change the channel ,if you are offended

As for you thread title question, it was a question, right? The network where I watch 99% of the weather reporting is on a national cable network. The women I have seen on this network are usually outside. Needless to say, in a city with 4 seasons, they dress accordingly for the weather at that time.
Very seldom see their male counterparts inside the studio either, so I guess they are treating them equally, even by PC standards. Your thread just enlightened me. Are you saying I might enjoy it more watching our local, I assume, in studio Meteorologist?

Thank you for illustrating my point.

I do understand ,not everyone wants to see everything, that is presented on TV, and that is their right, but I don't understand why they don't just opt out? It's so easy to do
