Do You Catch Inconsistencies in Scenes on TV/Movies?

I am watching ID and the story is based on a 1975 homicide; however, when one of the characters drives off in his convertible, the inspection sticker reads 3/14/2014.

On a King of Queens episode, there was a scene between Cary and Holly in the kitchen. They were having a quick-paced conversation. The camera would flip from one to the other. In one shot Holly had her shoulder bag on and in the next one she didn't. The conversation continued and this happened about 6 times.

Another episode of King of Queens, a blue glass sat to the left of Arthur and on the next shot it was gone - then appeared again in the following shot.

A Scandal episode showed one of the gals with a barrette to the left and in the next shot to the right.

Aren't there behind-the-scenes people hired to catch such inconsistencies?

Have you caught inconsistencies on TV or in movies?
