There is no real happiness without God and no peace when we separate
ourselves
from Him. Lord, You said, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you".
I give you my troubled heart.

exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in
human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became

Meditation for the day:
Divine control and unquestioning obedience to God can lead to a good
spiritual life. Divine control means absolute faith and trust in God, a
belief that God is the intelligence and love that controls the universe.
Unquestioning obedience to God means living each day the way we believe God
wants us to live, constantly seeking the guidance of God in every situation
and being willing to do the right thing at all times.
Prayer for the day:
I pray that I may always be under God's control and practice unquestioning
obedience to God. I pray that I may be always ready to serve God.
Hello my friends! Today was busy – blessings was meeting a nun I haven’t
really talked to for a long time, now she’s in our town! She is the sister
of my sister-in-law! We met at the noon Mass and had lunch together.
Another blessing – dinner tonight at the café – and another nice visit with
Jim. His wife is in the hospital now – Diverticulitis. Told him we’ll pray
for her. Her name is Michelle. Then Lori invited us to come there to play
Dominoes – with her neighbors – fun time. That’s why this is so late.
Thanks to all who posted – and Carba, QsZoo, and Hilo – thanks for your kind
words and welcome always! Glad you can find something good in the thread for
you. That’s God showing His love for you all. Thanks to all you regulars
too – who are so faithful in posting here! I so appreciate it all, and I
never take you for granted! Never!
Be Still
This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive.
There is no cost but a lot of rewards. Let's always pray for one another.

Father,
Thank You for each and every day You have blessed us here on earth.
Thank You for Your tender mercies.
Thank You for giving us friends and family to share these Internet joys
with.
I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those I care deeply for who
are reading this right now.
Where there is joy, give them continued joy,
Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy.
Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence.
Where there is need, fulfill their needs.
Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings

Spring is like a Resurrection.
When nature rises to perfection.
And suddenly the frozen earth,
Presents us with a glorious birth.
Each day, new miracles to see.
The seasons hold such mystery!
I do not question why or how.
But rather at God's feet, I'll bow.
I'll thank him for a second chance.
To stop and take another glance.
But this time, from a different view.
A slower pace, to see things new.
A fresh perspective...free from the past.
Treat each day, like it's your last.
The last day you could see a flower.
Or visit with a friend an hour.
Let God direct your life for you.
And tell you what you have to do.
Through His eyes, you soon will see...
A wealth of time, just standing free.
First take the time to spend with Him.

To not be clouded by tomorrow,

Prayer When You Need Patience
Forgive me, Dear God,
If today I have been impatient, especially with people.
If today I have made anyone feel a nuisance.
If today I did not show understanding for others mistakes.
If today there were times when I was too head strong, too sure I was right.
If today I have ridden rough shod over the feelings of someone else.
If today I have been unapproachable to talk to,
difficult to work with,
critical of others,
harsh and quick in my judgement.
I cannot undo what I have done,
but help me tomorrow to be more loving and kind,
as you are to me. Amen.
O breathe on me, O breath of God,
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love the things you love,
And do what you would do.
