Has anyone received an e-mail from this company asking to verify your e-mail by clicking on a button they sent..

I didn't...not sure about it...Googled it...and still not sure....

I never have but any email that tells you to click on a button to verify and you don't know the sender, then DON'T.

DISQUS is used through several chat boards I go to.

If you just signed up as a Disqus user - that's fairly standard to ask to verify email address.

If you didn't just sign up ... ignore it.

I had not heard of this name, but I just hope that the email was not generated because somebody used your email address to sign up.   That's the only concerning part for me.

I use a throw away email on that account and never even check it.

It's a very widely used discussion software on many large, well-known sites. Is it possible you tried to Comment somewhere, gave them an email address and you didn't realize you were in effect "signing up"?

If you truly didn't then jusy ignore it; at worst some comment you might have made somewhere & forgot about won't get posted.

I comment on this site regularly - can't remember the site's name.
