Not me.  This is too big, too much unknown imo for anyone on a bb to solve.

I think we all know what this could mean.

It could mean several things, none are etched in stone.  I'm not going to the worst scenario.

Moscow said its warships fired a barrage of missiles at Syrian insurgents from the Caspian Sea, a sign of its new military reach.

Do you have a source for this? Everything I'm finding says that Russian planes are "intercepting" or "getting close to" US drones, but I can't find any source that says the Russians have shot any drones.

If the folks at the top, middle, sideways, whatever can't figure it all out (solutions), then we won't be able to, either.  All we can do is wish for good luck.

That's all I can think of, too.  But then again, that gives Russia the idea they can get away with whatever they want.

I don't want our troops in this, though.

Here's one I find now, I haven't saved all the sources.  Fox is saying they "intercepted our drones."

EXCLUSIVE: Russian jets 'intercept' US predator drones over Syria, officials say

Re: Concern About Syria

In general:  Lots of people (top, middle, sideways, whatever) just don't seem interested in 'History repeats itself'.  In general, and not referring to this topic.  It's one thing we learned in elementary/middle school:  That we must study world history, so that we don't make the same mistakes over and over again.  I recall that the teacher said that most of us wouldn't be history teachers, but it's wise to know what happened in the past. What worked and what didn't work. Good teacher, good school (public).
