going to the pinball museum. Any ideas? Thanks. Going to the NASCAR race.
Sigfried and Roy's Secret Gardens. You can watch big kitties playing and dolphins for about $20. You can also play slot games for free on facebook and win things, like buffet tickets and discounts on Cirq shows or free ones if you play enough.(my vegas slots). Also check groupon type sites for deals. Have fun.

The first time we went, it was so much fun to walk the strip through the casinos. Treasure Island was fun and at that time the show was free.
We always stay downtown because we love it there. The light shows at night are so cool and free. And there was a Walgreens close when we needed any kind of supplies, like snacks.
Most of the casino have cards now and when you get one, you may get free-play or food coupons. Most of the time, we only eat out once a day and snacks later.
There is plenty of fun things to do without spending a lot of money, at least for us.

I was at an inexpensive hotel on the Strip once--near the famous ones but not among them, for a conference, and found that the city's food was inexpensive or--even if more $$$ a bargain for the food. I am not a fan of buffets and didn't try any, but I am talking about the a la carte menus at restaurants and the in hotel service.
A fellow conferee said he had a room-service breakfast, not as expensive as usual, that was the best in-room meal he had ever had.
I was a stricter vegetarian then than I am now, and I had an amazing vegetarian/noodle creation as Chinese meal for very little $$--maybe under $10?
To me, the food was cheap, and people watching (fascinating!) was free! We didn't do any shows.

When we were in Vegas last year, we went to the Gold and Silver pawn shop. They now charge a fee to enter unless you're there to pawn or buy merchandise.
