Re: Boy Walks Blind Deer To Food Before Going To School

What a good kid.  It's remarkable the deer lived so long if it was blind.  I wonder how anyone knew she was blind?

I hope surgery can help her, even if she can only see shadows it will be a blessing.  If not, she will have a wonderful life in a wildlife refuge where she will be safe and have plenty to eat.

What a wonderful young man that chose to help her each day. :-)

In this case, a picture is worth a thousand words.  So moving.

@LTT1  Loved your "dear/deer" comment.

Just wondering - why did you post the same photo that's in the article?

By the way, I went to the Reddit link that's in the article and the original poster - whose wife is the one who called animal rescue  - posted that the boy is really going to miss the deer.  I bet he will, which is sad in a way that his "dear deer" friend is going away. Hopefully somewhere where the boy can still visit it. Better that the deer be safe and sure to get enough food, arther than hit by a car in the boy's neighborhood.
