Blood clotting reasons?

I have a friend that has blood clots in her legs, and the doctors says there is no physical reason why she has them. She has been checked and there is no reason why they are happening. Continual blood tests show nothing.

Anyone have experience with this? She does not want to (of course not) stay on Coumadin. There are many foods she's stopped eating because she can't have them anymore.

Please, can you help?
